A Message from the Principal
The
Coronado staff would like to extend to all Coronado students
and their families a sincere welcome to the 2006-2007 school
year. We are anticipating an exciting year. Having experiences
in elementary school and middle school settings, along with
raising three children, I understand the transition to and
from the middle school. The elementary school has been the
home for families for five years. A strong attachment and
sense of loyalty is often developed. Many hours of volunteer
time have been spent. Along comes the MIDDLE SCHOOL. In
just three short years, the students are in and out of Coronado.
Many students of this age sense a need for independence
and do not always share their school day with you as willingly
as they did in elementary school. School work and all those
messages from the school do not always find their way home
as consistently as they once did. If you are feeling left
out, please get in touch with your child’s advocate.
We want you to be involved and to know what is going on.
The middle school years can be challenging, but very rewarding.
Let us develop the partnership between the home and the
school and work together for your children! Please keep
in touch if you have any questions or concerns and check
